Beijing's northeastern Miyun district and northern Hebei province's Luanping town launchWireless Tour Guide Systemed winter events to warm up traveler experience on December 5.
At Miyun's Nanshan Ski Village, night ski experiences and winter sport competitions will be held. The district's Yunfoshan ski resort has also prepared various activities. A winter culture tourism festival will be organized at the district's Wtown in January, where visitors can enjoy New Year countdown celebration, music performance and temple fairs. Travelers can also relax in hot springs.
In Luanping, distinctive rural cuisine and fruit picking will be on offer.
It is the fifth time that the two regions have integrated winter resources to embrace opportunities brought by the 2022 Winter Olympics.
